Herbert W. Stone
Herbert W. Stone, 97, of Bethlehem, passed away Monday, April 5, 2010, surrounded by his loving family.
Born: in Easton, he was a son of the late Claude and Anna Wertley Stone. Personal: Herbert leaves Peggy L. Greeting Stone, his wife of 10 years.
He was an inventory control supervisor in the Drill Division of Ingersoll-Rand. He was an avid bridge player.
Memberships: Herbert was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem.
Survivors: His loving family, wife; a daughter, step-children; a brother, William Stone of Easton; a sister, Louise Oros of Edison, NJ; two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by wives, Alice Williams Stone and Elizabeth Griesemer Stone, two brothers, Jack and Charles Stone and a sister, Eleanor Elliott.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 10, 2010 in the First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem, 2344 Center Street. Family and friends will be received from 10 a.m. until service time. Interment will be private with the family. Arrangements are with the Snyder-Hinkle & Lunsford Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
