Jacob B. Walter Dies in Hospital
Jacob B. Walter, of 2247 Freemansburg avenue, Wilson Borough, a real estate and inusrance agent, died at 6:55 yesterday afternoon at the Easton hospital, aged 54 years. He was admitted to the hostial at 3 o'clock in the afternoon for surgical treatment. He was taken ill on Wendnesday Morning.
Mr. Walter was born in Behtlehem township, this county and was a son of the late Dr. Barnet C. and Camilla Brunner Walter. For many years he had been engaged in the real estate business in Easton and Wilson bourough and was well known throughout this vicinity. His wife died sveral years ago.
Desceased is survived by two brothers and two sisters: Dr. William Walter, Dr. Mitchell Walter and Mrs. Howard Knecht, of Bethlehem and Miss Cora Walter, living on the old homestead, in Bethlehem township. A brother, Dr. Robely D. Walter of this city, died on August 5.
For the past nine years, Mr. Walter boarder with Mrs. Emma Frace of 2247 Freemansburg Avenue and for a year had had his office there. |
