Raymond (Blackie) Unangst
Services for Raymond G. (Blackie) Unangst, 68, formerly of
Easton, will be ehld at 2 p.m. Monday in Katinis Funeral
Chapel, Wilson, Interment will be in Easton Cemetery.
Mr. Unangst lived at 15 Depot Road, Groten, Conn. He died
Wednesday in Lawrence Memorial Hospital, New London, Conn.
He was a dye worker at Bradford Dye Works, Bradford, Conn,
Before moving from Easton to Groten 22 years ago, he was
employed by Hercules Powder Co., Belvidere, and Theodore
Bean Inc., Easton.
He served in the Merchant Marine during World War II.
Born in Easton on Dec. 16, 1909, he was a son of the late
Ray and Jane Arthur Unangst.
Sruviving are three sons, a sister, Mrs. Ethel
Davis, and a brother, Harry, both of Easton, seven grandchldren
and a great-grandson.
