Valentine C. Uhler
Valentine C. Uhler, a life-ling resident of Forks Township, died Sunday morning at the home of daughter Mrs. Alvin F. Dietz of Shamokin, pa., where he was resided for the past year. He was 89 years old, a son of the late Peter and Sophia Uhler. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Alice Fraunfelder Uhler and was a lifelong member of Lutheran congregation of Forks Church.
He is survived by two daughters and a son, Mrs. Alvin F. Dietz of Shamokin, Pa., Mrs. Arthur C. Shimmer, of Easton, and Dr. Norman C. Uhler of Nazareth, four grandsons and a great-granddaughter also survive.
Funeral services will be held at the Willauer funeral Home on Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 with interment in Forks Cemetery, Rev. Luther A. Gruver, the pastor of Forks Lutheran Congregation, will conduct the services. |
