Mrs. Emma Uhler Keim
Mrs. Emma Uhler Kiem, widow of Reuben Keim, died at her home, 512 Cattell Street, yesterday in her 88th year. She had not been in the best of health for a long time and on October 28 fell while walking in her living room. While not being injured the shock to her system hastened her end. She was born on February 18, 1942 in forks Township, the daughter of the late peter and Sophia Uhler and had lived in this city over 50 years. She had express the hope that she might live until her 88th birthday, but when she had her fall she herself declared that this could not be expected.
Mrs. Uhler is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Flora Haupt, wife of Charles Haupt, of 512 Cattell Street, a sister Miss Lucinda R. Uhler, of Forks Township and a brother, Valentine C. Uhler of Forks. She was a member of the Lutheran Congregation of Forks Church, and during her long life here made many warm friends some of whom still remain to mourn her departure from this life. |
