Mrs. A. J.Stofflet, Of Nazareth, Was 90
Mrs. Henrietta Uhler Stofflet, 90 of 154 S. Main St., Nazareth, died yesterday morning at her home. She was the widow of A. J. Stofflet, who died in December 1937.
Mrs. Stofflet was born in May 5, 1964, in Forks Township, a daughter of the late Valentine and Katherine Werkheiser Uhler. She had been a resident of Nazareth since 1895.
She and her husband celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on Jan. 24, 1934.
Mrs. Stofflet was a member of St. John’s Evangelical and Reformed Church, Nazareth.
Surviving are three sons, Walter K. of Coatesville; Morris C. of Detroit Mich., and Millard A. of Hamburg; three daughters, Mrs. G. M. Johnson, of Nazareth; Mrs. Russell B. Trimble, of Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. H.W. Dawes, of Easton; 19 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2p.m. at the Bartholomew Funeral Home, Nazareth. |
