Morris C. Stofflet
Funeral services for Morris C. (Jerry) Stofflet, 77, a former resident of Nazareth, were held yesterday in the DeSantis Funeral Home, Detroit, Mich. Interment was in White chapel Memorial Cemetery, Troy, Mich.
Mr. Stofflet, a resident of Detroit, died in the Grosse Point, Mich., Hospital Saturday.
He was a son of the late A. J. And Henrietta Stofflet, and worked in Stofflet’s Store Nazareth, before going to Detroit prior to World War I.
He was a life member of the IOOF Lodge, Nazareth, and the Lutheran church, the Masonic order and the American Legion, in Detroit.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Grace Stofflet; a daughter, *****, Blomfield Hills, Mich.; a son, *****., Troy, Mich.; a brother, Millard A. Hamburg, pa.; two sisters, Mrs. Miriam S. Johnson, Nazareth, and Mrs. Russell B. Trimble, Seattle, Wash., and seven grandchildren. |
