Mrs. Sarah K. Ackerman
Mrs. Sarah K. Ackerman, widow of the late Theodore Ackerman,
of this city, died yesterday morning at the home of her
son-in-law, Rev. William Henry Wells, No. 222 West Tabor
Road, Olney, near Philadelphia. Rev Wells is pastor of
the First Presbyterian church there. Mrs. Akerman had been
an invalid for the past ten years and death resulted from
pneumonia. She was 70 years of age.
Tow daughters survive her, Mrs. Wells and Miss Lina Ackerman,
of Olney. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. John Pursell,
of Phillipsburg. Mrs. Ackerman was born in Phillipsburg and
was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Zacharias Stocker.
The body will be brought to this city on Saturday and funeral
services will be held at 2 p.m., at Ashton's parlors North
Fourth Street. Interment in Easton cemetery.
