Reuben Shook
Reuben Shook, an old and well-known resident of Bangor, died at his home, 341 Market street, that place, at 5 o'clock yesterday aftenoon. He had been in declining health for the past year but was confined to his bed only for the past two days. He was born and raised at Richmond and had resided in Bangor for the past 40 years. His wife preceded him in death a year and three months ago.

He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Wilson Steckel, of Bangor, three grandsons and one granddaughter, Charles R. Steinmetz, Clarence J. Steinmetz and Mrs. Raymond Jackson, all of Bangor and George M. Shook, of Radburn, NJ. There are also three great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Boston Ruch, of Allentown, and Mrs. Josiah Ruch, of Flicksville.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. with all services at the home in charge of Rev. J. Frederick Stolte, pastor of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bangor, of which he was a member and interment will be made in St. John's Reformed cemetery, Bangor.
