Ervin Shook
Ervin Shook died yesterday at the home of his son, A. D. Shook,
Northampton Street, Bangor, of a complication of ailments,
aged 78 years. Deceased had been a farmer and most of his life
was spent near Richmond, Washington Township. His wife died
seven years ago and he went o live with his son in Bangor.
Besides his son, he is survived by six grandchildren and seven
great-grandchldren; also by a brother, Reuben Shook of Bangor
and two sisters, Mrs. Jess Ruch of Flicksville and Mrs. Boss
Ruch of Allentown. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church,
Stone Church. The funeral will held tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. from
the home of his son at Bangor, followed by services in St.
Paul’s Lutheran Church, Stone church and interment in
the Stone church cemetery.
