George Sherry, of this city, received intelligence today that
his brother, Andrew W. Sherry, died at Grand Forks Dakota,
on Friday last, and was interred yesterday. Deceased was
a former resident of Bethlehem. He was well known in Easton.
For the past five years he was stationed at Grand Forks,
superintendent of the motive power of the Chicago and Northwestern
Railroad. He leaves a wife and four children, and is also
survived by his brothers, Ira Sherry, of Iowa; Samuel, of
Bethlehem, ad George, of Easton. These sisters also survive,
Mrs. J.W. McComas and Mrs. J. W. Daily, of Bethlehem, and
Mrs. Jacob Heck, of Easton. Deceased was forty-eight years
old and served during the Rebellion in Company A, 202d Pennsylvania
Volunteers. He was prominent in Masonic circles.
