Gladys A. Stempa, 77, of Palmer Township, died Saturday, March
20, 2004, in Manorcare, Palmer Township.
Born: July 16, 1926
in Easton, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Jenny Sigman
Seip. Personal:
Her husband, John, Sr., died in 1985.
She
was a Central Service Technician at Easton Hospital
in Wilson Borough. She had previously worked at the Palmer
Elementary School as a cafeteria monitor and she had also worked
for Orr's of Easton. She was an avid bingo player.
Memberships:
She was a member of Good Shepard Lutheran Church
in Wilson Borough. She was also a member of Safety First Ladies
Auxiliary.
Survivors: a daughter, a son,
four sisters, Edith Morgan,
Evelyn Ewadinger, Pearl Serfass, and Dorothy Vail,
all of Easton; two grandsons. Three
sisters, Florence Montoro, Catherine Timmer, and
Jenny Walton, and four brothers, Clarence, Benjamin, Harold
and Carl Seip, all died earlier.
Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday
in the Finegan Funeral Home, 1837 Washington Boulevard,
Wilson Borough. Call one hour prior to service in the funeral
home. Burial will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine. |
