Gilbert G. Rogers Sr., 91, of 400 Race St., Belvidere, N.J.,
died Saturday, June 5, in Forest Manor Health Care Center,
Hope, N.J. He was the husband of Esther (Hoffman) Rogers
for 71 years.
He was a self-employed carpenter since 1947.
Born in South Easton, he was a son of the late Mortimer
and Mildred (Gillen) Rogers.
He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Belvidere.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors: Wife; sons, Gilbert G. of Richardson, Texas,
Charles W. of Forest, Miss., Fred W. of Belvidere, George
E. of Inola, Okla., Audley A. of Mount Bethel and Larry M.
of Waco, Texas, 21 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren
and a great-great- granddaughter. He was predeceased by a
son, Ronald R. and daughters, Dale E. and Joan M.
Graveside services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Northampton Memorial
Shrine, Palmer Township. No calling hours. Arrangements,
Ashton Funeral Home, Easton.
