James M. Rogers, 87, of 560 Mine Lane Road, Palmer Township,
died Monday in Easton Hospital. He was the husband of Catharine
(Young) Rogers. They were married 68 years.
He was a salesman for the former Easton Fruit and Produce
where he worked for more than 25 years, retiring in 1968.
Born in Easton, he was a son of the late George M. and Mildred
(Gillen) Rogers.
Survivors: Wife; sons, daughters,
brothers, Harold F. of Forks and Gilbert of Belvidere, N.J.;
sister, Dorothy Jacobus of Ocean Front, Calif.; 24 grandchildren
and 29 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by sons, Thomas
and Brian.
Services: 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Strunk Funeral Home, 2101
