Mrs. Leon Shepherd
Mrs. Mary E. Shepherd, 47, wife of Leon Shepherd of 412 Maple
Ave., Phillipsburg, died last night in Warren Hospital. She was
admitted to the hospital on Wednesday.
Born Jan. 3, 1917, in Phillipsburg, she was a daughter of
the late William F. and Elizabeth Raub Piatt.
She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Phillipsburg.
Survivors include three sons, William of Phillipsburg, and
George and Robert, at home; three brothers, Howard and Lester
Piatt, both of Phillipsburg, and Albert Piatt of Alpha, and
one grandchild.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Heck Memorial
Home.
