Thomas A. Paulus, 80, formerly of Phillipsburg R.D. 1 died at 1 p.m. yesterday at his home, 1203 East Columbia Ave., Philadelphia.

Born in Phillipsburg, he was a son of the late Edwin and Isabelle Garrecht Paulus. He moved to Philadelphia in 1919.

Surviving are his widow, the former Rebeca Norris; one daughter, Mrs. Anne Rohlrns (Robbins), Philadelphia; two brothers, Frank and Edwin, both of Phillipsburg and three sisters, Mrs. Albert Baines, and Mrs. Elizabeth Smith, also of Phillipsburg, and Mrs. Anne Heinerwald, New York City.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the William Rowen Grant Funeral Home, 307 East Gerald Ave., Philadelphia. Interment will be in Northwood Cemetery.
