Harold C. Nixon, 76, Ex-Pennsy Engineer
Harold C. Nixon, 76, of 117 Riverview Road, Phillipsburg,
died last night in Warren Hospital, where he was admitted
earlier in the day.
Born in Phillipsburg, he was a son of the late Franklin
and Sarah Strunk Nixon.
Mr. Nixon was an engineer on the Pennsylvania railroad 46
years, retiring four years ago.
He was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.
His wife was the late Margaret Storm Nixon who died in 1964.
Survivors include a son, William, Phillipsburg; a daughter,
Mrs. Marie Hopek, at home; a Brother, Roy W., Stewartsville
R.D.; two sisters, Mrs. Bersinia DeWitt and Mrs. Flora Fisher,
both of Phillipsburg, and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Finegan
Funeral Home, Phillipsburg. |
