J.T. McCabe, Expediter for I-R Cameron
J. Terrence McCabe, 84, of 839 W. Berwick St., died yesterday
afternoon in the Northampton Convalescent Center, Easton, where
he was a guest since Oct. 16.
Mr. McCabe was a retired expedite for the Cameron Pump Division
of the Ingersoll Rand co. He retired 18 years ago after more
than 30 years of service.
Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Terrence and Sarah
Coyle McCabe.
He was an Army veteran of World war I and a member of St.
Bernard’s Catholic Church, Lt. E.C. Baker Post, VFW,
and Washington Barracks, Veterans of World War I.
His wife, Joye Rapp McCabe, died in 1921.
Surviving is a daughter, Sarah C. McCabe, at home.
The funeral will be held at 8:45 a.m. Monday at his home,
followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9:30 a.m. in St.
Bernard’s Church. Interment will be in Gethsemane cemetery.
Arrangements were made by the Doyle Funeral Home, Phillipsburg.
