Pearl Irene Menhennitt
MENHENNITT, PEARL IRENE Age 93, went home to be with Jesus
on April 20, 2007.
Born 11/11/1913 in Plainsfield Twp, PA.
United in marriage April 20, 1935 and reunited in Heaven
on their anniversary. She had 3 brothers, Earl, Raymond
and Richard and 2 sisters, Emma Alberta and Ada, all deceased.
She grew up in the community of Stone Church, PA.
Pearl
taught Sunday School at the First United Evangelical Church
for 12 years. She was a waitress at Smith's Family Restaurant.
She and husband, William (Bill), owned and operated the
Candy Kitchen in Bangor from 1956 to 1959. William and Pearl
moved to Riverside, CA. in 1959. Pearl was a saleslady for
Kristy's Dress Shop in the Riverside Plaza for 17 years,
retiring in 1977.
She was also active in Eastern Star, AARP
and the Grove Community Church in Riverside. Pearl was preceded
in death by her husband of 64 years and will be laid to
rest beside him at Olivewood Cemetery in Riverside, CA.
She
is survived by 4 children, 18 grandchildren, one deceased
grandson, Mark Stenlake, numerous great-grandchildren and a
great-great-granddaughter.
Graveside Services will be held at the Olivewood Cemetery
on Thurs., April 26th at 2:00pm. Pearl was admired
by many friends and relatives and will be greatly missed, but
as Christians we all know she is with her Savior for eternity.
