Robert E. Kieffer 72, Employed 42 Years At Ingersoll - Rand Co.
Robert E. Kieffer, 72, of 124 South Fourteenth street; Easton, an employee in the drill office of Ingersoll-Rand Co.,Phillipsburg, for 42 years, died yesterday morning in Jefferson Hospital, Philadelphia, following surgical treatment.
Born in Easton, he was a so of the late Simon P. and Louise Kieffer. Mr. Kieffer was a member of the P.O.S of A., Jr. O.U.A.M., and Calvary Memorial Methodist Church, Easton.
He is survived by eight children, the Rev. Robert E. Kieffer, of Schuylkill Haven, former pastor of Richmond and Raubsville Methodist Churches: William B. Kieffer, of Muskegon, Mich.; Mrs. Joseph Heil, of Phillipsburg, N.J.; Mrs. Jacob Robert, Mrs. Norman Wolfinger, Mrs. A. C. Richenbach, and Raymond and Frances Kieffer, all of Easton; four sisters, Mrs. Emma Schrottman, of Philadelphia; Mrs. W.B. Roberts, Miss Ida Kieffer, and Mrs. Amos King, all of Easton; 16 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. |
