Ruth Hevener Freer, 93, of 1930 Cliffside Drive, State College, Centre County, formerly of Easton, died Monday in Centre Community Hospital. She was the wife of Edward M. Freer.

Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Samuel J. and Mary D. (Weber) Hevener.

She was a member of First United Church of Christ, Easton.

Survivors: Daughter, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services: 1 p.m. today, Easton Heights Cemetery. Arrangements, Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College.
