Pluma M. Boehm Werkheiser, 84, of 766 Easton Road, Hellertown, died
Saturday, April 5, in St. Luke's Hospital. She was the wife of the
late Robert U. Werkheiser and Herman Boehm.
She was a domestic house cleaner for a doctor in Hellertown for 13
years before retiring. She was also employed by Mary Ellen Convalescent
Home, Hellertown.
Born in Lower Saucon Township, she was a daughter of the late Asher
and Estella (Larish) Herman.
She was a member and council member of Christ Lutheran Church of Lower
Saucon.
She was a member of Sons of the Union Veterans and TOPS.
Survivors: Daughter, at home; stepsons, Mr. Werkheiser
of Fort Myers, Fla., Mr. Werkheiser in West Virginia and Mr. Werkheiser
of Saylorsburg; stepdaughters, Mrs. **** of Hellertown, *****., wife
of ***** of Williams Township, and *****., wife of ***** of Bethlehem;
three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, 13 step-grandchildren
and nine step-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a stepson,
Mr. Werkheiser Jr.
Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday,
Heintzelman Funeral Home, 326 Main St., Hellertown, and 10-11 a.m.
Wednesday in church.
Contributions: Church memorial fund.
Among the survivors of Pluma M. Boehm Werkheiser, 84, of 766 Easton
Road, Hellertown, who died Saturday, are 13 step-great-grandchildren.
