Joyce E. Talaber, 79, of 5171 Hillside Drive, Coopersburg, died Monday in Sacred Heart Hospital. Lehigh County Coroner Wayne Snyder attributed death to natural causes.

She was the wife of the late Rudolph Talaber.

She was a sewing machine operator in Coopersburg for many years, retiring in 1980.

Born in Hellertown, she was a daughter of the late Asher and Stella (Larish) Herman.

She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Lower Saucon Township.

Survivors: Daughter, *****, wife of *****of Los Altos, Calif.; son, ***** of Northampton, Mass.; sister, Pluma Werkheiser of Hellertown, and two grandchildren.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, Norcross-Weber Funeral Home, Main and Oxford streets, Coopersburg. Call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 10:30-11 a.m. Thursday.
