William Hackman, 69, Former Employee of I-R Cameron Division
William H. Hackman, 68, of 109 Prospect St., Delaware Park,
died Saturday at Warren Hospital where he was admitted on
Friday.
Mr. Hackman was a checker and marker in the shipping department
of the Cameron Pump Division of the Ingersoll-Rand Co 24
1/2 years, retiring in 1971. Before that he was employed
by the Canister Co., Phillipsburg.
Born in Easton on Jan 18, 1906. He was a son of the late
William and Mary Francis Hackman. He lived in Delaware Park
47 years.
He was a life member of the Delaware Park Fire Co. and the
New Jersey Exempt Firemen's Association. He was a member
of the Phillipsburg Exempt Firemen's Association.
Survivors include his widow, the former Helen Kugler; five
daughters, four sisters,
Mrs. Sarah Kramer and Mrs. Mildred DeYoung, both of Easton;
Mrs. Rose Mueller, Bangor R.D. and Mrs. Dorothy Shook Wrightstown,
N.J. and 13 grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Rupell
Funeral Home, Phillipsburg. Interment will be in Fairmount
Cemetery
