Helen M. Hackman, fire auxiliary member
Helen M. Hackman, 91, former of Delaware Park, Lopatcong Township,
died Monday, March 9, in Care Center of Lopatcong in Lopatcong
Township, where she lived the past four years.
She was a homemaker.
Born Nov 20, 1906, in Phillipsburg, she was a daughter of
the late George and Clara Snyder Kugler. She lived in Lopatcong
Township most of her life.
She was a member of Pilgrim Presbyterian Church in Philipsburg
and member of the former Ladies Aid of the church.
She was the last surviving charter member of the Delaware
Park Fire Co. Auxiliary.
She attended Phillipsburg High School and the class of 1925
and Churchman Business School in Easton.
Her husband, William H., died in 1974.
She is survived by four daughters,*****, ***** and ***** all
of Lopatcong Township, and ****** of Marion, M; 14
grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Shirley H. Boss, died in 1997. A sister Alice
Casey, died in 1984.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Pilgrim Presbyterian
Church, 750 Belvidere Road, Phillipsburg. Call 7 to 9 p.m.
Friday in Rupell Funeral Home, 465 memorial Parkway, Phillipsburg,
and 9 a.m. Saturday to time of Services in the Church. Burial
will be in Fairmount Cemetery in Phillipsburg.
