Mrs. Russell Dungan
Mrs. Florence Dungan, 76, of 85 Rose St., Phillipsburg, died
this morning at her home after a short illness.
Born in Flicksville on Jan. 6, 1897, she was a daughter of
the late Elmer and Alice Fehnel Gruver. She lived in Easton
35 years before moving to Phillipsburg four years ago. Her
husband, Russell D. Dungan, died in 1957.
She was a member of Calvary memorial United Methodist church,
Easton, a life member of E.C. Baker Post Auxiliary, VFW, Easton,
and the Weston Club, Easton.
Survivors include four sons, Warren, Benjamin and Irwin, all
of Easton, and Russell Jr., Phillipsburg; seven daughters,
Mrs. George Patterson Jr., Mrs. John Paterson, Mrs. Norman
Wolbach and Mrs. John Navone, all of Easton; Mrs. Charles Schubert,
Baldwinsville, N.Y.; Mrs. John Hosier, Fearless Hills, pa.;
Mrs. John Bernhardt, with whom she lived; a brother, Joseph
Gruver, Lafayette, N.J.; four sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Frey, Nazareth,
Mrs. Elsie Bellis, Easton; and Mrs. Hattie Eichoff, Portland
and Mrs. Russell Hoadley, Phoenix, Ariz.; 34 grandchildren
and 28 great-grandchildren
