Mrs. Earl Strock
Mrs. Mildred L. Strock, 66, of 216 W. Grant St. Easton, died
this morning in Allentown and Sacred Heart Medical Center,
Allentown. A patient in Easton Hospital since June 16, she
was transferred to ASH last Monday.
She was a sewing machine operator for the former Shapira & Son,
Easton, retiring several years ago.
Born Aug. 11, 1911, in White Heaven, PA, she was a daughter
of Charles T. and Minnie L. Prutzman Garis.
She was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Easton,
where she sang in the choir.
Surviving are her husband, Earl W. Strock; a step-son, Earl
W. Jr. of San Antonio, Texas; and two brothers, Raymond C Garis
of Easton and Russell E. Garis, Wilson.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Strunk Funeral
Home, Easton. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine,
Palmer Township. |
