Floyd G. Garis
Floyd G. Garis, 67, formerly of 447 S. 21st St., Wilson, died yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Stember, New Tripoli R.D., 1, where he lived since September.

Mr. Garis was a stationary fireman for Pfizer Inc., retiring in 1970 because of a disability.

Born on April 16, 1908, in White Haven, PA., he was a son of the late Charles and Minnie Prutzman Garis.

His first wife, the former Bertha Erdman, died in 1944. His second wife, the former Helen Wilhelm Firth, died last April.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Dallas Lodge 396, F&AM; Easton Forest 35, Tall Cedars of Lebanon and Hugh de Payens Commandery 19, all of Easton.

Survivors include a stepson, Frederick First, Stationed with the Navy in Hawaii; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Richard McDavis, Easton; two brothers, Raymond C., Charleston, S.C. and Russell E., Wilson; a sister, Mrs. Earl W. Strock, Easton; two grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, for step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Strunk Funeral Home, Easton. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine. Masonic Services will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
