Philip P. Fox, 70, of 125 West Wilkes-Barre Street, died
at 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the Easton Hospital
where he was admitted six weeks ago for surgical treatment.
Mr. Fox was a native of Williams Township but spent practically
all of his life in this city. For a number of years he
was employed by the Easton School District, his last position
being that of janitor of the Lehigh School building. He
was an uncle to Charles H. Fox, World War veteran who was
buried this afternoon from the home of his mother, Mrs.
Louisa Fox in Cedarville.
Mr. Fox is survived by his widow, two step-children: Mrs.
Harry Kreil and Francis Baaken, both of this city; two brothers,
Winfred Fox, of Raubsville, and Frank Fox, of West Easton,
and a sister Mrs. Emma Shipman, of Lyndhurst, N.J.
He was a member of the Reformed Church, Easton, Castle No.
534, Knights of Golden Eagle and Excelsior Council, No. 26,
