Easton Express, June 17, 1944
Mrs. Dora Fox Gallagher, 41, died at 8:20 last evening at
her home on the South Delaware River Road near Raubsville,
after an illness of year and a half. She was born in Williams
Township, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Winfield
Fox. Two children survive her, Mrs. Helen Gallagher Nagy
of South Delaware River Road and Richard Gallagher, in
the U.S. Army at a camp in North Carolina.
She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Emma Eckert and Mrs. Howard
Serfass, of Raubsville, and a brother, Forrest F Fox of Easton
R. D. 4. Mrs.Gallagher was a member of the Williams Township
Reformed Church and the Ladies Aid Society of the Raubsville
Methodist Church.
The funeral will be held on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock
at the Shillinger Funeral home, 801 Lehigh Street. Internment
in Williams Township Cemetery. |
