Mrs. Carrie Hulsizer, Retired Teacher, 75
Mrs. Carrie Eichman Hulsizer, 75, retired Easton teacher, died
last night at St. Joseph's Hospice, 123 North Second Street,
where she was a resident. She was the widow of Sharps Hulsizer.
Mrs. Hulsizer was born in Easton Juy 29, 1972, daughter of
the late Charles and Mary Hagerman Eichman. She was graduated
from Easton High School in 1891, and attended courses at Lehigh
University.
She retired in 1939 as teacher of orthogenic classes at Proter
School, and from 1899 until 1925 she taught at Cottingham School.
She was a member fo the Auxiliary of the Jacksonian Democratic
Club, Easton.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. J. Stanley Downs, Bethlehem,
and Mrs. Samuel Smith, of East Hartford, Conn., and a brother,
Charles Eichman, Easton. |
