Margaret M. Stone, Easton Catholic Grad
Margaret M. Stone, 86, of Belvidere Road, Phillipsburg, died Sunday June 3, in Warren Hospital.
She was a homemaker.
Born Oct. 19, 1914 in Geneva, NY, she was a daughter of the late Edward F. and Margaret M. McNerney Dinan.
She was a member of St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church in Phillipsburg.
She was a member of Philipsburg senior Center. She was a frequent visitor at the Bernadine-May American Legion Post Nutrition Center in Phillipsburg.
She was a graduate of Easton Catholic High School. She attended immaculate College.
Her husband, Charles B. died in 1986.
She is survived by a daughter with whom she resided; four sons, ; three brothers, Joseph P. John and Paul M., all of Easton; a sister, and 14 grandchildren.
A son Michael S. died in 1996. Two brothers, Edward F. and Thomas, also both died earlier.
Services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday in the Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman St., Phillipsburg A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in the church, Phillipsburg. Call fro 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
Burial will be in St. Philip and and St. James Cemetery in Greenwich Township. |
