T. M. Conine, Was Musician
Thomas M. Conine, 68, of Mill Pond Road, Washington, R.D. 1, died this
morning at his home after an illness of several months.
Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Charles and Anna Moser Conine.
Mr. Conine had lived in Washington for five years. Previously he lived
in Phillipsburg and Morris Park.
He was a furnace operator in the foundry of Ingersoll-Rand Inc., Phillipsburg,
for 20 years until 1959. He was last employed as an attendant at the
New Jersey State Sanatorium, Glen Gardner.
He was a member of the Non-Sectarian Fellowship Church, Morris Park.
He attended Easton High School.
For many years he played trombone with the Ken Brader Sr. orchestra.
Survivors include his widow, Ruth Bulmer Conine, a son,
Philipsburg; a daughter, Rose Hill Heights;
three sisters, Mrs. Lydia Metler, and Mrs. Ruth Riley both Easton,
and Mrs. Clara Wilson, Phillipsburg, and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Rupell Funeral
home, Phillipsburg. Interment will be in the Musconetcong Valley Cemetery,
