George F. Cole, 79, Singer, Ex-Easton Man
Services of George F. Cole, 79, formerly of Easton, were held this afternoon in Elmira, N.Y., Mr. Cole, who resided at 573 Post St., Elmira, died Friday.

Mr. Cole was raised in Easton and in his youth sang in several churches of the Easton-Phillipsburg area. He also participated in charity musicals.

He was a member of Dallas Lodge 396, F & AM; Easton Chapter, Royal Arch Mason; Hugh DePayens Commandery, Knights Templar and a life member of Easton Forest 35, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, all of Easton. He also was a member of the Keystone Scottish Rite Masons.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ida E. Cole; a sister, Mrs. Jennie Ritter, of Allentown, and on brother, John S. Cole, of Easton, supervising principal of Palmer Township Consolidated School.
