Mary E. Pursel, 91, formerly of Brakeley Garden Apts. and Huntington, Pohatcong Township, N.J., died Tuesday in the Care Center of Lopatcong, Lopatcong Township, N.J. She was the wife of the late Stanley B. Pursel.

She worked in the maintenance department of Ingersoll-Rand Co., Phillipsburg, for many years before retiring in 1979.

Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Alvin and Bertha (Horn) Clause.

She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Greenwich Township, N.J.

Survivors: Sons, daughter, nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., Phillipsburg. Call 10-11 a.m. Thursday.
