Robley Buttner
Robley D.W. (Walt) Buttner, 60, Gaffney Hill Road, Easton R.D. 4, was stricken fatally yesterday at his home. He had been under the care of a physician.

Born July 22, 1911, in Williams Township, he was a son of the late Frank and Tillie Belle Kiefer Buttner.

Mr. Buttner was a machine operator in machine shop 9 of the Bethlehem Steel Corp. He was on disability since last December.

He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, new Williams; Order of Fleas, Williams Township Fire co., and Williams Township Quoit League.

Survivors include his widow, Stella A. Fluck Buttner; three daughters, two sisters, Mrs. Clayton Hagenbuch, and Mrs. Charles Kandl, both of Easton R.D. 4; three brothers, Edgar and Willard both of Toledo, Ohio, and Charles Sr., Easton R.D. 4; 13 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. A son Robley D.W. Jr., died in 1955.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Strunk Funeral Home, Easton. Interment will be in New Williams Cemetery.
