Edgar M. Buttner
Edgar M. Butner, 71, Toledo, Ohio, formerly of Easton and Fort Myers, Fla., died May 16 in Toledo.
He was a son of the late Frank T. and Tillie Kiefer Buttner, Williams Township.
Owner of the Ace Automotive Warehouse, Toledo, for 41 years, he retired in 1974.
He was a past president of the Oriental Band of the Shrine.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Faith Aderman, Mrs. Sandra Forgette, both of Toledo, and Mrs. Candice Shelhart, St. Petersburg, Fla.; a son, Carl of Kansas; two brothers, Willard of Toledo and Charles of Easton; a sister, Mrs. Beulah Kandle, Easton; 12 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
Services were held May 19 in Toledo. Interment was in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. |
