Lewis O. Brown
Lewis O. Brown died at 10:50 last night at his home, No. 500 McCartney
Street, College Hill, of a complication of ailments, aged 68 years.
Though he was bedfast only since Saturday he had complained of ill
health six years.
Mr. Brown was a native of Palmer Township and was the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Isaac Brown, deceased. For forty-eight years he followed his trade
as a carpenter, and for the past eight years was in the contracting
business. He was a member of the Easton Carpenter's Union and was a
very active member of the Lutheran congregation of Arndt's Church.
He is survived by his wife and four brothers and a sister - Charles
Brown, of Forks Township; Martin Brown, of Bethlehem Township; Edwin
Brown, of Palmer Township; Adam Brown of Easton and Mrs. Henry Graver,
of Philadelphia. |
