I, Isaac Brown, of Palmer Township in the county of Northampton
and State of Pennsylvania, Being of sound mind, memory and understanding,
but weak in my lower limbs, do make and publish this my last will and
testament, hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at
any time heretofore made.
And first I direct all my just debts and funeral expenses to be fully
paid and satisfied by my executors, hereinafter named as as conveniently
may be after my decease as to such estate as it hath pleased God to
in trust me with, I dispose of the same as follows to wit:
I direct my hereinafter named executors to dispose of all my personal
property at public or private sale to be the best advantage after my
decease, to collect all monies due me on bills, notes judgements, bonds
or mortgages and I authorize and direct my hereinafter named executors
to sale as public sale all my real estate (consisting of three farms
and one wood lot. The one farm being the old homestead farm in the
Township of Palmer aforesaid bounded by land of of Jacob Rohn, Jacob
Brown, Catharine Barnet, other lands of the said testator (being farm
No 3) containing (61) sixty one acres and (40) forty perches, No. 2.
being the Barent Davis farm situated in the Township of Lower Nazareth
bounded by lands Jacob Brown, Barnet Coleman, Reuben Lawall, Stephen
and Jacob Hellick, George Beck and farm No 3 of said testator containing
(100) one hundred and ten acres 144 Perches, No 3, Being the John Favis
farm situated in said township of Lower Nazareth bounded by lands of
George Beck, Jacob Rohn and No 1 and No 2 of said testator contains
51 acres and 60 perches. No 4 being or wooded lot in Bushkill Township,
bounded by lands of John Heckman, Jacob Keller and Joseph Engler, containing
four acres and one half) for such price or prices and upon said terms
and conditions as to them may seem best and to grant and convey the
same to the purchasers or purchasers thereof, his, her of their heirs
and assigns free from all liabilities, excepting as hereinafter named
and after my hereinafter named executors have reduced all the personal
property to cash and collected all my outstanding monies. and share
out paid all my funeral expenses and first debts and expenses of administration
and commissions. Then I direct that one third of the purchase money
shall remain a lien and be secured by bond and mortgage on each of
the said farms and wood lot, the interest to be paid to my wife Dorothea
Brown, during her natural life as widow ?, should she marry then she
is to forfeit said interest. said bequest my said wife to be in lieu
of her dower and the interest to be paid early. I also give devise
and bequest my said wife the use ? of two rooms in my brick home wherein
I now live, being the first room downstairs at U. S. E corner of said
house and the room on second floor being the NC corner of said house
with free ingress and egress to and from the same with rights to use
water from the cistern and use of water closet. After the death of
my said wife the third charges is be equally divided, share and share
alike, between my said children and their issue, one share to Emma
Leh her heirs and assign, one share to Andrew J Brown, his heirs and
and assigns, to David Brown, his heirs and assigns, one share to Poly
an intermarried with Joseph Keller her heir's and assigns, one share
to John Martin Brown, his heirs and assigns, on share to William H
Brown, his heirs and assigns, one share to Lewis Brown his heirs and
assigns, one share to Edwin Brown his heirs and assigns and one share
to Adam Brown his heirs and Assigns.
Immediately after my executors hereinafter named have disposed of
all my said real estate and covered the same into costs they are to
divide all monies in the hand as follows to wit; the said sum in hand
is find to be divide into ten shares and off of one share which is
to be divided equally between my grand daughter Emma M Leh and her
son Wilson Nickum the sum of seven hundred is be be deducted be my
hereinafter named executors, two hundred dollars which I give and dives
and bequeath the Henry Leh his heirs and assigns and the balance of
five hundred dollars to be divided equally among my nine children.

one share to Charles brown, his heirs and assigns, on share to William
H Brown, his heirs and assigns, one share to Lewis Brown, his heirs
and assigns, one share to Edwin Brown, his heirs and assigns and one
share to Adam brown, his heirs and assigns.
And lastly, I nominate constitute and appoint my three sons, Andrew
J Brown, David Brown and John Martin Brown my executors of this my
last will and testament in witness where of I Isaac Brown, the testator
her to this my last will and testament, written on said sheet of legal
? paper set my hand and seal this fifth day of September A.D. 1878.
