Easton Daily Argus, Tuesday, January 10, 1893
Andrew Jackson Brown, the well-known butcher residing near the Fountain house in Palmer Township, was terribly cut about the head in a runaway accident on Tuesday evening, January 3. He was found unconscious lying in the road not far from his home, to which he was assisted. His wounds were very painful and he suffered a great deal. Blood poisoning set in and this morning he died. Deceased was raised in Palmer township and was supervisor there for several years. He conducted a meat market at Fifth and Northampton street for several years. He was about fifty-years old, and is survived by his wife and daughter Mrs. Charles W. Herster, a younger daughter and one son, Robert.
