William C. Buzzard
William C. Buzzard, 68, an employee of the Julius Kayser Co. Inc. Bangor, died last night at his home near Flicksville after a long illness. Mr. Buzzard was a lifelong resident of Bangor and vicinity.
He was a member of first United Evangelical Church, of Bangor, and its Sunday school He served as assistant choirmaster and choirmaster at the church for 40 years and was a member of the men’s Bible class.
Mr. Buzzard was a son of the late Enos and Erminda Ackerman Buzzard. Surviving are his wife, Beatrice Richards, Buzzard; a daughter, Mrs. Vernon Griffin, of Flicksville; a brother, Walter J. and two sisters, Miss Nettie Buzzard and Mrs. J.R. Long, all of Bangor.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in the Hough funeral home, Bangor. The Rev. Paul K. Cressman, pastor of First United Evangelical Church, will officiate. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Bangor.
