Mrs. J. R. Long
Mrs. Mabel Strunk Long, 74, formerly of Bangor, died this morning at home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. J. Horace Strunk, Chambersburg.
Mrs. Long was married twice. Her first husband, Walter Strunk died in 1935. Her second husband, J. R. Long, died several years ago.
Born in Bangor, she was the daughter of the late Amos and Irminda Ackerman Buzzard. She resided in Bangor until 10 years ago.
She was a member of First United Evangelical Church, Bangor; the Women’s Missionary Society and the Friendly Bible Class of the Church.
Survivors include another son, Robert A. Strunk, Collegeville, Pa; a daughter, Anita, wife of Paul waltz, Jersey Shore, Pa., a brother, Walter Buzzard, Bangor; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Hough Home for Funerals, Bangor.
