Charles C. Buzzard
Charles C. Buzzard, 68, retired line foreman for Metropolitan Edison Co. Bangor, with 47 years service died today at his home, 258 South First Street, He was born in Bangor, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Amos Buzzard. He was a member of the First United Evangelical Church, Bangor. And of the Progressive Men’s Bible class of that church.
He leaves, his wife, Mrs. Tressia Landis Buzzard, two daughters, Mrs. LeRoy Serfass and Mrs. Ralph Albert, both of Pen Argyl, a son, Charles Jr., Bangor; a stepson, Lieut, Col. Cornelius J. Rinker, Quanties, Va., two brothers, Walter and William Buzzard; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Strunk and Miss Nettie Buzzard, Bangor, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Stoddard funeral home with the Rev. Paul Cressman, pastor of the First Church and the Rev. A. C. Bradley of Allentown officiating Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery.
