Dr. Harry Zellers, 83, Retired Easton Dentist
Dr. Harry C. Zellers, 83, retired Easton dentist died yesterday
in Venice, Fla., where he was vacationing. He lived at 880
Cattell St., Easton.
His office was in the Alpha building, Easton. In 1964, he
received a 50-year certificate from the Lehigh Valley Dental
Society at a meeting in the Hotel Easton.
He was an end on the 1902 football team at Easton High School.
Born in Williams Township, on April 30, 1885, he was a son
of the late Frank D. and Rebecca Steckel Zellers.
He received his doctor of dentistry degree from the University
of Pennsylvania.
Past exalted ruler of the Elks Lodge No. 121, Easton, from
1919 to 1920, he was honored in 1969 for his then 62-year membership
and received an award at a testimonial dinner.
He was a member of the Northampton County Country Club and
was an avid golfer.
He was also a member of the Pomfret Club, Easton.
His wife, the former Harriet Sadenwater, died in 1967.
Surviving is a sister, Miss Helen Zellers, Easton.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Shillinger
Funeral Home, Easton. Interment will be in Northampton Memorial
Shrine. |
