Dorothy A. Rooker, 91, died Saturday in the Easton Home, 1022 Northampton St., Easton. She was the wife of the late George R. Rooker.
A graduate of Churchmen's Business College, Easton, she was a bookkeeper for the former Eagle Youth Center, Easton, for several years.
Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late John and Rosanna (Hahn) Young.
She was a member of the First Evangelical Congregational Church of Easton where she taught Sunday School and was secretary of the official board.
She was past matron and secretary of William Parsons Chapter No. 185, Order of the Eastern Star; District Deputy, Grand Matron, and treasurer for 12 years of the Eastern Star Home Board, Warminster, Bucks County, and Past Worthy High Priestess of Siloam White Shrine of Jerusalem No. 13, Easton.
She served on the original board of Easton Assembly No. 38, Rainbow for Girls, and as its mother adviser and deputy.
Survivors: Niece and nephews.
