Mrs. Samuel Harding
Mrs. Bertha Young Harding, 76, wife of Samuel Harding, of 19 West Main Street, pen Argyl, died last night in St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. Born in Ackermanville, Mrs. Harding was a daughter of the late Jacob and Susan Young.
A resident of Pen Argyl the last 57years, Mrs. Harding was a member of Bethany Evangelical Church, the Friendship Bible class, and the Women’s Missionary Society of the church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Mrs. Beryl Campbell, of Philadelphia; Mackey Harding of Pen Argyl, and Mrs. Leola Dohner, of Drexel Hill; four grandchildren and these brothers and sisters; Mrs. John Pfeffer and Mrs. Elma Geisler, of Easton; Mrs. Joseph Bauman, Mrs. John Painter, Mrs. Abraham Geissenger, and Earl Young, all of Philadelphia, and Mrs. William Menger, of New York.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from Pullis funeral home, 126 Pennsylvania Avenue, Pen Argyl, the Rev. E.E. Messersmith will officiate, and interment will be in Fairview cemetery. |
