Mrs. John S. Painter
Mrs. Rhumy L. painter, 99, a native of Ackermanville and a former resident of the Easton area, died yesterday in the Masonic Home, Utica, N.J.; where she had been a guest for four years.

She was born in Ackermanville Sept. 24, 1869, a daughter of the late Jacob and Susan Ackerman young, and was the widow of John S. painter, who had been assistant superintendent of the West Chester Division of the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad. He died in 1934.

Mrs. Painter resided with a niece, Mrs. Casper Pfeffer, 4092 Freemansburg Ave., before going to Utica.

She was of the Christian Science faith and a member of the Order of Eastern Star in new York City.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Minnie Geissinger, Allentown, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Greenwich Cemetery, Stewartsville, N.J. Local arrangements are in charge of the Ashton Funeral Home.
