Sarah E. Apple, 93, of Hellertown died Tuesday, Nov. 12, in
Mary Ellen Convalescent Home, Lower Saucon Township. She was
the wife of the late Clyde M. Apple Sr.
Born in Springfield Township, she was a daughter of the late
Charles M. and Ella A. (George) Wilhelm.
She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Hellertown, and
a past president of its auxiliary.
She also was a past auxiliary president of Edward H. Ackerman
Post 397, Hellertown.
Survivors: Son, Walter M. of Bethlehem; daughters,
brother, eight grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren
and a great-great-grandson. She was predeceased by sons, Clyde
M. Jr. and William A.
Services: 11 a.m. Saturday in the church. Call 10-11 a.m.
Saturday in church. Arrangements, Heintzelman Funeral Home,
