Father possibly Moses Wilhelm, not confirmed. Moses' will lists
a Jacob but no further proof has been found. Moses lived in South
Easton as well as Jacob.
Jacob Wilhelm, who died yesterday, was a resident of this place since
1832. He was born in Williams Township and came to South Easton to
help build the sawmill of Messrs. McKeen and Co., and after it's completion
he ran it for a number of years. He subsequently entered the service
of the Lehigh Valley Railroad Company as carpenter at the machine Shops.
He leaves ten children six sons and four daughters, all married. His
funeral will take place at the M.E. Church on Friday at 2 P.M. |
