Notes:
In the name of God Amen, I Moses Wilhelm of the Borough
of South Easton in the County of Northampton and Commonwealth
of Pennsylvania. Being weak body but of sound mind memory
and understanding blessed be God for the same, and considering
the uncertainty of this mortal life and being desirous to
settle my worldly affairs, so make and publish this my last
will and testament in manner and form following to wit; Principally
and first of all I commend my immortal soul into the hands
ofGod who gave it and my body to the earth to be buried in
a decent and christian like manner at the discretion of my
executors herein after named. And as to such worldly estate
where with it hath pleased God to bless me in this life,
I give and dispose of the same in the following manner to
wit,
First I order and direct my executors herein after named
to sell all my property both real and personal so soon after
my decease as the same can be done to advantage and to collect
all my outstanding debts and after the payment of my just
debts and funeral expences I order the ballance to be equally
divided to and among my children share and share alike that
is to say one share to my son Jacob one share to my grand
daughter Susanna Gauff only daughter of my daughter Mary and one share to my son Michael one share to my daughter
Elizabeth one share to my daughter Nancy one Share to my
Daughter Margaret One share to my son Samuel and one share
to my daughter Sarah and one share to my son Elias and in
case any of my said children should die before myself then
such share shall decent to such deceased childs offspring.
And lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint my son Michael
Wilhelm and my grandson George and Washington Wilhelm to
be executors of this my last will and Testament.
And I also bequeath to my said grandson George Washington
Wilhelm my silver watch also my clock and case and my desk
in reqard for his kindess and attention to me in my old age.
And I further order that if any of my said children should
bring in any claims of debt against my Estate for any services
rendered or any thing else prior to the date of this my last
Will and testment such debt or demand shall be deducted from
such child's share who shall claim such indebtedness agaisnt
me for witness where I ahve hereunto set my hand and seal
this Twenty fourth day of June i the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and forty seven.

Signed sealed and published and declared by the above named
Moses Wilhelm to be his last Willa and Testament in the presents
of us who have hereunto subscribed our names as witness in
the presents of the testator.
